
The citation was for allowing her dog to run at large, onto the neighbor`s property, and try and attack their dog. PERMITTING A DOG TO RUN AT LARGE – On July 12, 2023, deputies issued a citation to a dog owner residing in the 19200 block of South Mountain Road in Alsea. She contacted her financial institution and is not currently missing any additional monies. She said she finally realized she was being scammed and hung up. The female stated she had been scammed out of $240.00 over the phone. THEFT 2 - On Monday, July 10, 2023, at about 10:45 am, deputies were dispatched to speak with a female at the Benton County Sheriff`s Office regarding a theft. When deputies arrived on the scene, a former employee was turning in a resignation letter and gathering her belongings. SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCE - On July 11th, 2023, at about 11:30, deputies were dispatched to the 300 block of Lewisburg Avenue in Corvallis, for a report of a burglary in progress. Rowen was arrested for a Failure to Appear Warrant out of Benton County Circuit Court. WARRANT ARREST - On July 12th, 2023, at about 12:15 am, deputies arrested Matthew Rowen, 40, on Highway 99 near Circle Blvd in Corvallis. He was issued a citation in lieu of custody as requested by Albany. WARRANT ARREST - On July 13th, 2023, deputies arrested BLAKE ALLEN PETERSEN, 33, on a confirmed misdemeanor warrant for FTA Trespassing/Bail $6250.00, out of Albany Municipal Court after checking on a suspicious vehicle that was called in on the old section of Reservoir Road near 53rd Street.
